Sound is such a healing and sacred experience for people to feel and reflect upon..
I have been working with sound bowls in my massage for over 8 years, and the Crystal Tones Singing Bowls for almost 2 years now.
There are scientific studies that have proven sound can produce changes in the automatic, immune, endocrine, and neuropeptide systems.
Every atom, molecule, cell, gland of the human body emits sound throughout the entire body, including our brain, waves in a relaxed state, vibrating at a fundamental frequency of about 8 cycles per second, literally entertaining and attuning us to the basic electromagnetic field of the earth itself.
I’ve always loved sound and music, when I was a child I was extremely passionate about percussion, I had many years of lessons and even owned my own kit at the age of 12!
I later went onto playing the African drums in a drummers circle every Sunday for many years and also the Egyptian drum the Darbuka.
I see every treatment I give as sacred and healing experience, by starting with the sound bowls it allows the person receiving the treatment to relax deeper into it, feel more free from their busy mind and let go!!
Remembering that this is there time for themselves and there body mind and spirit!
